Midland Bay Landing Streaming
WRITTEN BY: LORI-ANN CLANCY & ASHLEIGH JEFFERY-PRICE
Rebecca Robillard and Roy Robitaille grew up in the metropolis of Midland/Penetang. They currently live in Toronto and work on the marketing/locations team at Canada’s latest music and film streaming service named ‘NApple Disnify’. This Canadian company will be first of its kind..showcasing legendary Canadian performing artists who want to produce their own film or show series. Can Rebecca and Roy convince these artists that Midland Bay Landing is the perfect location for filming?

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Sing/Act/Dance:
If you are interested in audtioning, please contact our stage manager Paula Desjardins ([email protected]) by Saturday, Sept. 9th. You must have one song prepared. If interested in playing a specific role (from the list above), contact Paula and she will tell you which song to prepare. If you are unsure of what role you want to play, pick a song that demonstrates your versatility as an actor (stage presence & confidence) and exhibits your vocal range. We want you to play a character; therefore, avoid the temptation to stand still in front of us reciting lyrics; include facial expressions and body language – show us your interpretation of the song…we are looking for fun!!!! You can perform a cappella (without accompaniment) or with music playing in the background (we will have a bluetooth speaker that you can use). Please have the song memorised so that you can show the audition panel what you are made of!!
The director (Clance) may ask you to do a very short monologue – you cannot prepare for this ahead of time. Our vocal director (James Hilts) may ask you to do some pitch matching with scales, or sing some harmonies.. Be ready to dance…with our choreographer (Aliyah Beckles) and the rest of the audition panel…it’s going to be silly and we promise that you will have a really good time!
Cast List
The cast list will be posted by midnight on Monday, Sept 11
